Gaudy casinos weren’t the only thing lighting up the night sky in Las Vegas recently. A wood pallet facility caught fire and added its own brand of pyrotechnics to the scene. Like most wood pallet fires, it was big, hot and hard to contain.
This blaze took over 40 firefighters from multiple area departments to get it under control. The best way to have controlled it would have been for the wood pallets to have been stored safely in the first place. Wood pallet fires are so common, it’s hard to find room to stick another pin in the wood pallet fire map.
