The last couple of days have been “hot” for wood pallet fires. Blazes broke out in Anderson, South Carolina, Lockport, New York and Brownwood, Texas. Wood pallets were the culprit each time.
We’ve been pretty lucky so far in that we haven’t seen any injuries lately. That had to end sooner or later and it did in Anderson Monday night. A firefighter was injured, but fortunately it doesn’t look too serious. Still, something needs to be done about these wood pallet fires before one gets out of hand and exacts a more serious human cost.
