These wood pallet fires are getting more serious. First a firefighter was hurt in Lockport, New York the other day. Now, 90,000 properties lost power in East London, England due to a wood pallet blaze.
It took twelve engines and 60 firefighters to get this one under control. A few train stations were knocked out as well, fouling up transportation. Until companies realize wood pallets need to be handled with extreme care, these fires will continue to happen and continue to get worse.
