Leading industrial supplies organisation, Scott Group, will be exhibiting at Ecobuild, the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment, held at the ExCel arena in London from 20th to 22nd March 2012.
This year Ecobuild is expected to be the biggest and best yet, and Scott Group is looking forward to welcoming visitors along to stand N1560, to find out more about the diverse range of services on offer across its six divisions.
Karen Hunter, Sales and Marketing Director at Scott Pallets, said: “Scott Group has been a leading industry partner to the construction sector for over 25 years and has built up an impressive reputation for the development of innovative supply chain solutions. The launch of our groundbreaking pallet recovery service, designed to reduce packaging waste by encouraging the re-use of wooden pallet, has been particularly well received. In 2011 Scott ELM recovered in excess of one million wooden pallets for re-use in the construction products supply chain for customers including H+H and Redrow.
“Ecobuild is not only a prime opportunity to share our knowledge of the construction products supply chain, but also to raise awareness of our full range of products and services offered across the Group.”
Scott ELM has also partnered with Nottingham University to sponsor the design of a bespoke modular pavilion made from re-usable timber shipping pallets. The ‘Fleeting Retreat’ pavilion will be designed by 2nd year Architecture students and will provide a space for visitors to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of the event. Scott ELM will provide the students with the pallets which will form the structure of the pavilion.
