Captain Slacko appears to have a thing for wood pallets. He posts a list of projects, the most egregious of which is the toddler bed. Do you really want your toddler sleeping on a bed that may be saturated with toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, a known carcinogen. Thought not.
I’m sure Captain Slacko’s heart’s in the right place on recycling and that’s why he posted this. He did do one thing right. His first post is how to tell a toxic wood pallet from a non-toxic one. After people read that, they probably won’t get to the projects because it’s too hard to tell if a wood pallet is clean or not. Mostly they aren’t.
