This Tea & Toast is a little bit different. It’s not all flowers and prettiness and decorating style. But it is creative and nifty and something that is definitely worth taking a look at. I know it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I think it’s Tea & Toast, worthy for sure!

I’ve been pondering the humble packing pallet for some time now. They seem to be everywhere – stacked up, unused, pretty colours, wasting away. The wood, on some of them, is good hardwood. It’s sturdy and useful. And it’s cheap, cheap, cheap! Surely there’s got to be more we can do with these timber creations than leave them in a pile to rot in the weather?

I know you’ve seen up cycled packing pallet furniture and shelving and tables and things but have you ever seen packing pallet houses? I did some oogly googling and I can say, I kid you not.
