It’s been a few days, but I knew it wouldn’t be too long before another woof pallet fire happened. This time it’s out in the Midwest in Kansas City in the old West Bottoms warehouse district. This one just happened and fire crews were quick to the scene. It appears to be under control.
The building is described as a “one-story warehouse full of wood pallets.” Cramming a building with wood pallets is like begging a fire to break out. Wood pallets, as we have seen time and again, are highly flammable. Shoving them in piles inside a building with no precautions against a blaze starting is just asking for it. Well, they got it: a nice big wood pallet fire.
